Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are your operating hours and phone number?

We are open Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Our phone number is 518.409.4113

  • Which filetype should be used when submitting files?

Our preferred method is Hi-Resolution PDF with fonts and images embedded and saved in CMYK – Files submitted in RGB may not match colors displayed on-screen. We do also accept files in most graphic programs.

  • What is an acceptable resolution for final printing files, or links?

Our preference is 300 dpi but understand not all files can be 300 dpi, as such we will accept a minimum of 220 dpi. Please note that images pulled from the internet are often low resolution (typically 72 dpi or 96 dpi). Please avoid these, as they will appear very pixelated when printed.

  • Is white considered a color when printing?

The quick easy answer is no. White is assumed to be the color of the paper being printed. In some cases where the printing media is not white it may be necessary to print with a white ink, but that is not offered digitally.

  • What is a Bleed and how much do I need?

Bleed is when the print area goes to the edge of the sheet or beyond the final cutting of the print. Which allows final print to “bleed” off the edge of the product. Bleed recommendation is 1/4 inch (.250 ) on all sides.
